What we do not do
This site sets no cookies of its own. It has no ads and no forms. The video tools process your files in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Visiting the site
Your browser sends its IP address, the time, the page, the referrer, and your browser and operating system. The request passes through Cloudflare to our web server. The web server and the application write standard access log lines. We use this data to answer your request and to keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare
Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, delivers and protects the site.
It may process data in the USA and elsewhere. It is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy
Framework. It may set short-lived technical cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance.
See its privacy policy.
Hosting
The site runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in Nuremberg, Germany.
Visitor statistics
We use Umami, self-hosted at Hetzner in Nuremberg. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it stores the page, the referrer, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and an approximate location derived from the IP address. It tells visitors apart with a hash that changes every month. It does not follow you across sites.
Data in your browser
A service worker keeps copies of pages and static files in your browser, so the site opens offline. The Tesla Dashcam tool stores your sort order, the autoplay setting, the last folder you opened and scan results in your browser. This data stays on your device. Clear it in your browser settings.
If you write to [email protected], your message goes to our own mail server (mail.mazzotta.me) at Hetzner in Nuremberg.
Third parties
The pages /videoplayer and /tesla-videoplayer load fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA). Google receives your IP address and browser details. See the Google privacy policy. If you paste a video link into the video player, your browser loads it directly from that server. Links to other sites are plain links. Their operators have their own privacy policies.
The personal tool AI-USE has its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and you may object to its use. Write to [email protected]. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to an EU data protection authority.
